This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information Cruize collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service well.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your display name, email address and a securely stored password. If you become a creator and upload music, we store the tracks, albums, cover art and credits you provide. We also keep basic activity needed to make features work — for example which songs you’ve liked, your playlists, and play counts.

How we use it

We use your information to provide and improve the service: to sign you in, show your library, deliver music, surface what’s new, and respond when you contact us. We do not sell your personal data, and Cruize has no voice ads — your music is never interrupted by spoken or audio adverts.

Email

We may email you for account-related reasons such as verification codes, important service notices, or responses to a request you’ve made. Creators may receive moderation notices about their uploads where relevant.

Your choices & control

You can edit your profile, change your email or password, and manage the visibility of your uploads at any time. You can also delete your account from Profile → Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and the content you uploaded, and signs you out everywhere. To get a copy of your data — your profile, playlists, likes, follows, uploads and activity — use Download my data in Profile.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. We take reasonable measures to protect it, though no online service can promise perfect security.

Content ownership

Cruize is a platform for the music people love. We provide the space and the tools, but we don’t own the content hosted here — the songs and other material belong to the creators who upload them, who are responsible for what they share. If you have a copyright or content concern, please reach us from the Contact page and we’ll help resolve it.

Changes to this policy

Cruize Music reserves the right to change, update or replace this Privacy Policy — and any of our terms or policies — at any time and without prior notice. When we make changes, the updated policy takes effect as soon as it is posted here, and the “last updated” date will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of Cruize after any change means you accept the updated policy, so we encourage you to review this page from time to time.
