Delete your Cruize account
Last updated October 2026
In the app or on the website
- Sign in and open Profile.
- Under Help & support, choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE, enter your password, then the 6-digit code we email you.
The code is checked before anything is removed, so a typo never deletes your music without deleting the account.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile (name, email, photo).
- Songs and albums you uploaded, including their audio and cover files.
- Your playlists, likes, feature requests and signed-in devices.
- Follows in both directions (the creators you follow, and your followers) and the creators you blocked.
What we keep, and for how long
- A minimal record that a song or album was deleted (title, date, who deleted it) for moderation and copyright disputes — kept up to 1 year.
- Security and admin audit records — up to 1 year.
- Error and diagnostic logs linked to your account id — up to 90 days.
- Anonymous, aggregated listening statistics that no longer identify you.
Can’t sign in?
If you no longer have access to your account, use Forgot password first. If that doesn’t work, write to us through the Contact page from the email address on your account and ask for deletion — we’ll verify it’s you before deleting anything.
